Just noticed you sent me a “verify your email” for my previous comment, which was out of date when received, so trying one final time now (God you make comments near impossible!):
“wavefunction collapse” stuff is an artifact of pre-path integral “first quantization”, i.e. a single wavefunction that is indeterminate. Path integrals imply 2nd quantization multipath interference, i.e. every interaction actually takes place by an infinite number of interferring wavefunctions - or rather, very large, if you replace calculus ∫exp(iS) dX with Σexp(iS) as you should, seeing that quantum theory implies discrete not continuous variables!
Therefore, there’s no “dynamical collapse mechanism”. Instead, there is multipath interference, which explains the double slit experiment. Why can’t you see this?
The same way they can’t see the fact that the cleaner low yield thermonuclear weapon, the neutron bomb is an invasion DETERRENT that leaves buildings standing when air burst so that the blast damage radius doesn’t extend to ground level, or alternatively when sub-surface burst in an earth-penetrator warhead, at blockbuster sub-kiloton yield (say 0.01 kt) to destroy underground bunkers without significant damage to civilians or infrastructure!
